Utility Bureau is operated by Utility Bureau Pty Ltd, ABN 00 000 000 000, Perth, Western Australia. By using this site you agree to these terms.

The service

The site provides a browser-based tool that crops photos to published document specifications and checks them against rules we have transcribed from official sources, plus information pages. It does not submit anything to any authority and does not guarantee acceptance except as set out in the guarantee.

Licences

A Single licence covers one person and one document type (documents sharing a size and head band count as one) for 30 days. The Pass covers up to six people and every document for 7 days. Licences are personal, may be used on any of your devices, and may not be resold. Keys are validated through Lemon Squeezy; we may disable a key that is shared publicly.

Accuracy

Specifications change. Each page shows the date it was last verified and the official source, and values we could not confirm are marked "check official source". You are responsible for checking the official page before relying on a value we have flagged.

Your content

Photos are processed on your device and never transmitted to us. You retain all rights to them. You must only process photos of people who have consented, and children in your care.

Acceptable use

Do not use the site to produce documents for fraud, impersonation or identity theft, or to circumvent an authority's rules. The tool deliberately offers no retouching.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the price you paid. Nothing in these terms excludes guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law.

Changes

We may update these terms; the date below changes when we do. Continued use after a change is acceptance.
