Our guarantee
If the issuing authority rejects a photo made here for its size, framing, head position or file format, and our checker marked that photo as passing, we refund the purchase in full.
What is covered
- Photo dimensions and aspect ratio
- Head height, eye line, head width and crown margin where the document defines them
- Centring and tilt
- Digital file format, pixel dimensions and file size against the portal's rules as published on our page
What is not covered
- Rejections for a reason the checker warned about or failed and you chose to download anyway. Overriding a rule voids the guarantee for that rule, and the tool says so before you download.
- Print quality, paper type, finish or weight (for example the Australian Passport Office's glossy 200 gsm dye-sublimation rule) and kiosk scaling errors
- Expression, eyes, gaze, lighting and shadows, which the checker estimates but cannot guarantee
- Documents marked "check and print only" on their page, including the Australian passport
- Documents marked "check official source" where the rejected rule is one we flagged as unverified
- Rejections unrelated to the photo (application errors, identity mismatches, recency)
How to claim
Email hello@utilitybureau.org within 30 days of purchase with your licence key and the rejection notice or a description of the reason given. No form, no photo required. We reply within two business days and refund through Lemon Squeezy to the original payment method.
