Passport photo rules are precise, public and widely ignored by the tools that claim to follow them. This site measures.

Every document here is a data file with the published size, head band, eye-line or crown rule, background rule, glasses rule and upload limits, verified against the official page on a stated date. The tool crops to that data, measures the result in millimetres, and lists every rule with the measured value, the allowed range and the fix. If a value could not be confirmed, the page says so.

Nothing is uploaded. The face landmark and background models run in your browser, the files are generated there, and the proof page shows you how to confirm it. That matters because the Australian Passport Office warns against online photo services for exactly the reason that most of them send your face to a server.

The price is on every tool page before you pick a photo. The checker is free, and stays free, because the point of the site is that you should know whether a photo will pass before you pay anyone anything.
